Corsair has introduced a small refresh of its packaging with the Elite Capellix AIO series, the traditional black and yellow theme survives but with the colours inverted on the box and with a change in the shade of yellow compared with the previous RGB Pro XT.

With its latest AIO coolers, Corsair squeezes a total of 33 Capellix LEDs into the pump head, allowing for all manner of lighting effects via the accompanying iCue software suite.Of course you can also endlessly tinker with custom settings, but for the purposes of this review I chose a lighting preset and then tested both “balanced” and “extreme” performance levels. The CORSAIR iCUE H115i ELITE CAPELLIX XT Liquid CPU Cooler provides powerful, high-performance cooling for your processor. With a total of twelve four-pin fan and RGB headers, the included kit makes it easy to attach up to half-a-dozen RGB fans with synchronised lighting across the board. It uses the CORSAIR AF RGB ELITE Series fans, which have a special AirGuide design that focuses the airflow towards the center of the fan, resulting in higher static pressure and better cooling performance.

It’s compatible with virtually every current CPU, including Threadripper, though I went with our Core i9-10900K (with no power limit) once again. With further disassembly, the circuit board can be seen and the size of the Capellix LEDs are visible (items on the circuit board marked with a D) they are tiny. Light up your system with 33 ultra-bright CAPELLIX LEDs in the pump head and 16 fan RGB LEDs, for mesmerising, customisable lighting effects.
